T. Berkley Wines Norgard Vineyard Chenin Blanc 2023

Lovely white tea and jasmine flower, flinty and elegant, with a nose that is a touch shy but blooms with a little air to show its richness. Undercurrents of orange blossom and honeysuckle that is typical of Norgard. On the palate, the wine is broader and more open than previous releases. Leaning almost into ripe peach, the 2023 shows more stone fruits enveloped by a stony minerality.

100% Chenin Blanc. Native yeast fermented and aged for 12 months in concrete egg and French oak puncheons (30% New), then in tank for 6 more to finish. Minimal sulfur added only at bottling.
