Medium to medium plus bodied and dry, silky and earthy with notes of cherry, blackberry, and prune, layers of cocoa, leather, clove, and allspice, with minty high tones, subtle oaky undertones, balanced acid, soft dry tannins, and a long velvety finish. Gets better and better as it opens up. A blend of Corvinone, Corvina Veronese, and Rondinella.
