Pascal Lambert Chinon Les Terrasses 2023

The Domaine Les Cesnaies lies just to the east of Chinon; here Pascal and Beatrice Lambert produce a surprisingly wide portfolio of wines, all from grapes grown following biodynamic practices. The Lamberts, both descended from a long line of winegrowers, founded their domaine in 1987; since then, they have easily established themselves as top producers of Chinon, making honest, authentic wines that are reference points for the region.

This wine is 100% Cabernet Franc; it shows ripe black fruit with notes of blueberries, minerality, and herbs. 

From gravelly and sandy soils, these 15-35 year old vines are hand picked. Aging  occurs in concrete for 6-12 months with no sulphites added until bottling; a measly 10mg/l at bottling
