Outward Wines Shell Creak Vineyard Valdeguié 2023

Flavors of fresh strawberries, crunchy rhubard, cinnamon, and watermelon jolly rancher. Valdiguié is somewhat of a California heritage grape that was planted in the 90s at Shell Creek. It ripens at low alcohols and produces large berries and clusters. 

This wine is fermented using carbonic maceration—leaving the whole clusters undisturbed for a full 10 days—resulting in a bright, light, and juicy wine, best enjoyed with a slight chill.
