Domaine Ogereau Anjou Blanc en Chenin 2023

Aromas of spiced pear, dried apricots, chamomile and gardenias leap from the glass. Deeply tense, with the acidity pushing and pulling the rich mineral texture before finishing on a salty, spicy and slightly nutty note.

100% Chenin Blanc, dry with minimal residual sugar. Aged around 8 months on the lees in 400 and 500 L barrels (0-40%), 20 hL puncheons (0-40%), and underground sandstone tile-lined tanks (20-100%), lightly filtered.

Farming Practice: Organic (Ecocert), biodynamic (Biodyvin). Manual de-budding, leaf thinning, and green harvesting.
