The Matthew Wallace wine label is a longtime partnership between 4th generation Napa native Matt Hardin and winemaker Thomas Rivers-Brown. They have teamed up on some of Napa’s most popular Cab’s priced both high and low, their style is rich, earthy and filled with chocolaty silky fruit. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, showing aromas of leather, figs, bitter chocolate and hints of Bordeaux. The Estate is a complex cross-section of Matt Hardin’s storied vineyard sites. Winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown handpicks some of the best barrels in the cellar, composing a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from various blocks and clones. It shows off his blending artistry while bringing together sources that complement each other perfectly, elevating the entire bottle. The result is a snapshot of each vintage from across the Matthew Wallace vineyard lineup.
