A fresh, elegant, and terse wine. 10% of the wine was aged in polymer egg-shaped tanks; this gives the final blend a floral, perfumed and elegant aroma of red fruits, with a full, lively body. It is a contemporary wine, from high-altitude vineyards in a continental climate, with a surprising final balance.
97% Tempranillo, 3% Cabernet Sauvignon
Exhaustive grape selection both manually and through an optical selector. Each parcel is vinified separately in 24 different vats using the force of gravity. Fermented by indigenous yeasts and minimizing the presence of oxygen. Barrel aged in new extrafine French oak barrels (20%) and second use ones (80%) and seeking freshness, finesse and elegancy rather than over-extraction and over-concentration. Aged 11 months in extra-fine grain French oak barrels.
