Kivelstadt Cellars 'Father's Watch' Red Blend 2023

Plushly dark-fruited on the nose with slight peppery, savory notes from the Syrah. The palate, on the other hand, is bursting with strawberry and herbal tones from the Grenache. The high-toned raspberry flavors of Carignane lift and lengthen the refreshing finish, beckoning further sips. Well integrated flavors and a polished tannin structure makes this dynamic wine perfect for pairing or enjoying on its own. 

34% Grenache, 34% Carignane, 32% Syrah

The grapes were gently pressed and the wines aged separately for 4 months in neutral French oak before we assembled the blend and put that wine back down to the same barrels for an additional 5 months of élevage.
