"Fruit for 'Les Deduits' comes from some of the Dutraive family's oldest plots and is vinified in a combination of concrete and oak. The wine's fresh and dark-fruited palate is marked by thirst-quenching acid and silky tannins, with classic Dutraive energy and soulfulness. Over the past three decades, Jean-Louis Dutraive has quietly established himself as one of the best winemakers in Beaujolais, and one of the most involved members of the French wine community.
