The 2010 Pelan offers punchy minerality and earthy fruits, gorgeous secondary notes of leather, tobacco, sage, and balsamic, and integrated, supple tannins.

An esteemed neighbor of C. Le Puy, which plays an integral part in the winery these days, this is old school natural Bordeaux. A dry red blend of majority Cabernet Sauvignon, with Merlot, and Petit Verdot, this herbaceous library release was aged at the winery itself. An outlier in a sea of similar wines, this rustic and ethereal red is a true standout.
