Cincinnato Lazio Bellone 'Castore' 2024

Aromas and flavors of Granny Smith contrast with almond and pear tart, combining juicy freshness with a dry, savory lingering finish and mineral notes.  

100% Bellone, grown on volcanic slopes at 200-250 meters near the town of Cori, southeast of Rome. This is a lovely example of the rare white Bellone grape variety, known as the 'bread grape' in ancient times for its soft and delicate skin. 

Aged 6 months in stainless steel followed by 6 months in bottle.
