This years batch is decidedly lighter towards a pale rose color in the glass. The lighter color belies the tension of this wine with aromas towards ripe raspberry and strawberry. The palate has a crisp nature that calls to mind biting into a pomegranate. Silky on the palate, this wine offers fresh acidity and light fruit. A great pairing with pasta like tortellini, fresh mozzarella with balsamic glaze, and the most typical dishes of the Modena cuisine.
