Chateau Taillefer Pomerol 2022

The wine is a gourmet delight. It offers a silky tannic structure, fruity and floral aromas (blackcurrant, raspberry, strawberry, rose), woody notes (vanilla, almond, cocoa bean) and minerality.

2022 climate was marked by a rainy spring, followed by a dry summer and a heatwave. These dry, hot conditions at the end of the season produced grapes with a good tannic charge and freshness. A rigorous selection of berries enabled us to produce a wine with an elegant tannic structure and brilliant aromas.

2022 Vintage Blend: 92% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Franc. Aged 12 months in French oak barrels, 40% new. Bottled aged for 2 additional years prior to release.
