Chateau Cos Labory Saint-Estèphe 2021

In the first attack, the bouquet expresses aromas of small black fruits such as blackberry and blackcurrant followed by fine touches of acacia honey and cedar wood.The balance in the mouth is very tense with a pleasant acidity and tannins of great finesse, with an elegant, complex finish, and a very beautiful persistence conducive to prolonged aging.

The wine is vinified in large, 150-hectoliter, stainless steel vats. Chateau Cos Labory is aged in about 40% new oak barrels. Interestingly, Chateau Cos Labory is one of the few Bordeaux chateaux to age their wine in American oak. The wine of Chateau Cos Labory is actually aged in a combination of French oak and American oak barrels.

Chateau Cos Labory 2021 comprises a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (33%) and Petit Verdot (7%).
