Cardedu Praja Monica di Sardegna 2021

Dry, gently tannic and rustic with undeniably earthy notes. Brambly wild blackberry and dark  cherry fruit backed with a barnyardy funk and subtle pipe tobacco finish. Best drunk lightly chilled as an aperitivo or with lighter meals of seafood, vegetables, or poultry. The local Monica grape is fermented with native yeasts in cavernous cement tanks under the house. A zingy light bodied red wine.
