G.B. Burlotto Verduno Pelaverga 2023

Burlotto is a Barolo icon. They make this wine from a red grape called Pelaverga, which is native to Burlotto’s hometown of Verduno. The 2022 Pelaverga Verduno is classy, elegant and polished. In this vintage, the Pelaverga retains it's typical light-bodied structure, but varietal peppery, savory notes aren't present - intense heat and drought did not allow for those elements to develop.
