Argiolas Costera Cannonau di Sardegna 2021

Cannonau is the local name for the Grenache grape which thrives on Sardinia. Some people credit Cannonau wines for the longevity of Sardinia's residents due its high levels of antioxidants.  This is a wonderful, food friendly red with notes of black cherries, baked strawberries and savory herbs and spices. Aging in old French oak barrels softens and concentrates the wine. Those who like Cotes du Rhones will enjoy this!
